Great performance of our U-21 National team against Kazakhstan...
This was the perfect way to follow up their 3-0 win against Luxembourg last Friday.
The Brave Falcons had a series of good chances early in the first half, with Miloš Drinčić, Stefan Lončar and Milutin Osmajić all going close.
Luka Uskoković finally took one of those chances in the 20th minute, driving a header past the Kazakhstan goalkeeper Mukhammejan Seisen.
However, Montenegro quickly gave up the lead in the 26th minute as Zhandos Soltanov made it 1-1. Andrija Vukčević saw his excellent shot blocked by Seisen in the 35th minute. Seisen also saved well to keep out Osmajić’s free kick right before the end of the first half.
In the 53rd minute, Montenegro took the lead through Stefan Milošević. The attacker scored with a powerful shot just under the crossbar. Ilija Vukotić doubled Montenegro’s lead in the 73rd minute, driving a shot into the left corner of the goal after dribbling past a couple of defenders.
Drinčić scored Montenegro’s fourth goal in the 82nd minute with a header following an excellent corner. Marko Miličković volleyed in Montenegro’s fifth in the 87th minute after a great cross by Periša Pešukić.
