The "Brave Falcons" trained tonight on the pitch of the City Stadium, where they tried out the new surface on which they will attempt to return to winning ways against the Czech Republic on Friday evening.

The new playing surface at our biggest stadium pleased Montenegro’s players.

- We are all glad to have every prerequisite for a good performance and I hope we will achieve a good result in this first match, Marko Janković said at a briefing with reporters.

The "Falcons" have focused all their attention on the match with the Czech Republic.

- They are a serious national team we all know that and are aware of it. We played the match away against them, but it’s not the same to play away as it is at home. I hope the fans will come in large numbers to support us. We are going for three points, because this match is a turning point for us for the continuation of the qualifiers. A victory in this match is a prerequisite to be able to think about anything further, Janković said.

The midfielder is aware that Montenegro will need to perform much better at home than they did in Plzeň in June.

- Every team, even the best ones, have aspects of their game where they can be threatened. We have done some analysis, we are preparing, and I believe we are in better shape than in June. We are all in full form, the players are playing for their clubs, everyone is a regular starter, which was not the case before. I sincerely hope we can put in a good performance, Janković said, adding that he hopes for support from the stands.

- We cannot influence that except with good play and results. Only that way can we bring the fans back to the stadium, he emphasized.
