The Montenegrin footballers defeated Liechtenstein in their second and final friendly match this year.

The guests held the lead until the end of the match, when the "Brave Falcons" made a comeback and celebrated with a score of 2:1. This victory, the first under coach Mirko Vučinić, was marked by Viktor Đukanović's first goal in the "Falcons" jersey, as well as the debut appearance of defender Stefan Milić.

As expected, our team had the initiative throughout the match, frequently entering the box and shooting from dangerous positions. However, the guests from the Alpine principality managed to defend well. But they also scored, and that happened in the 28th minute when Aron Zele found the net from a few meters out.

This was followed by renewed pressure on the Liechtenstein goal, with the biggest chance falling to the talented Andrej Kostić in the 72nd minute. However, he was denied his first goal for the senior national team by the opposing goalkeeper.

Two minutes later, a surprise occurred. Nikola Krstović created space for Kostić's shot, and after the goalkeeper's save, the ball was put into the net by Milutin Osmajić.

Osmajić's goal sparked an even stronger offensive, leading to chances for Krstović and Kostić. In the 87th minute, however, the Liechtenstein net shook again. Đukanović scored the final 2:1 after the ball bounced to him following a shot from Krstović.

The "Falcons" have two more matches in World Cup qualification before the end of the year: an away game against Gibraltar on November 14 and a duel with Croatia three days later in Podgorica.
